The Flatline Sessions
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
The Flatline Sessions is a free, standalone fan remaster of Interplay's 1988 Neuromancer — the cyberpunk adventure after William Gibson's novel — rebuilt in Godot 4 with all-new art, prose, and music.
Walk Chiba City and Freeside, deal at Crazy Edo's and the Body Shop, jack into the matrix, break ICE on the data fortresses — and face the AI on Cyberspace Beach, where you choose to fight free or stay in the dream forever.
56 rooms, working economy, cyberspace + turn-based ICE combat, two endings
An original synthwave score — The Flatline Sessions by As30p (listen on SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/as30p/sets/the-flatline-sessions))
Ships standalone — no original game files required
macOS: ad-hoc signed, so on first launch right-click → Open (or xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine the app). Windows/Linux: unzip and run.
---Unofficial, non-commercial fan project. Not affiliated with or endorsed by William Gibson, Interplay, or any rights holder. Contains no original game assets.

The Linux file doesn't seem to be working. Can you provide any advice on how to properly run this or extract it (On Linux Mint / Debian). Thank you!
Do you have godot installed? I might have forgotten to have the startup script automatically pull down godot if it’s not installed. Let me try on a fresh mint VM and ill get right back with you.
